Runners View

Looking at the Sikh photos in the website, the scenic view of Lake Elizabeth is stunning with the majestic background, in conjunction with the accommodating bathrooms and the acreage of open land, but the concrete terrain is the most punitive surface for the runners.

I highly recommend Quarry Lake Park/Isherwood in Fremont, on Paseo Padre, that could accommodate all the participants, parking, and the picnic tables. Furthermore, each loop upon the dirt terrain is 3 mile (perfect venue for the 5K and the 12 milers) For the 2M run/walk, there is also a shorter version. The downside is the $5.00 per vehicle parking permit.
